Greater Performance Tech, LLC, doing business as Greater ("we", "us", or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our website and mobile application services. This policy applies to all users and is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• Personal Information: Name, email address, date of birth, and other details you provide when registering, joining an organization, or contacting us.
• Health & Fitness Data: Height, weight, workout performance data, training metrics, exercise completion rates, fitness goals, and related health information you input or generate through app usage. For GPS-tracked cardio workouts, this includes derived metrics such as distance, duration, and pace (see Location Data below).
• Location Data: When you choose GPS tracking for a cardio workout (run or walk), the app accesses your device's precise location only during that active tracking session. Raw GPS coordinates and route maps are processed on your device and are not stored on our servers. See Section 3 for full details.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our app, including features accessed, time spent in app, workout completion rates, and app performance data.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and technical data collected automatically for app functionality and crash reporting.
• Payment Information: Subscription status and purchase history processed by Apple or Google. We do not store your payment card information - this is handled securely by the respective app store.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and similar information collected automatically for security and functionality.
• Cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience. See Section 7.

The Greater mobile app may access your device's location when you explicitly start a GPS-tracked cardio workout (for example, when you choose to track a prescribed run or walk). Location is never accessed for other exercises or when you are not actively tracking a cardio session.

• When we access location: Only after you start GPS tracking for a cardio workout. The app may continue to access location in the background while that workout is in progress (for example, if your screen is locked), so distance and pace remain accurate until you finish or cancel the session.
• How we use location: On your device, in real time, to calculate distance, elapsed time, and pace, and to show your route on a map during the active session. Location is used solely to provide this workout-tracking feature.
• What we store: We do not store your GPS coordinates, route map, or other raw location history on our servers. When you finish a tracked workout, we save only the derived workout metrics to your account: total distance, duration, average pace, and completion status as part of your health and fitness data.
• What we do not do: We do not use location for advertising, marketing analytics, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell location data. We do not share precise location with third parties.
• Your choices: GPS tracking is optional. You may enter cardio results manually instead, or decline location permission when prompted. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings; this disables GPS tracking but does not remove previously saved workout metrics from your account.

• To provide, maintain, and improve our fitness and training services
• To track your workout progress and provide personalized training recommendations, including calculating distance and pace when you choose GPS cardio tracking
• To process subscription payments and manage your account
• To analyze app usage and performance to improve user experience

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or EEA, you have specific rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. We process your data lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and only for legitimate purposes.

Organization athletes access Greater through their team or school. Billing for organization accounts is handled separately between Greater and the organization, not through in-app consumer subscriptions.

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience and for essential site functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work as intended.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and secure server infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We continuously review and update our security practices to protect your personal data.

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.

Our app integrates with third-party services that may access your data to provide core functionality. These services are required to provide the same level of data protection as outlined in this privacy policy:

• Sentry: Used for crash reporting to help us identify and fix app issues. Sentry may collect technical information about app crashes (such as device type, operating system version, and error logs) but does not receive any personally identifiable information.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations:

• Active Account Data: Retained while your account is active. GPS coordinates and route maps from cardio tracking are not retained on our servers; only derived workout metrics (distance, duration, pace) are kept with your workout history.
• Deleted Account Data: Personal data is permanently removed according to the timeline specified in our Terms of Service
• Legal Records: Payment records retained as required by law (typically 7 years for tax/accounting purposes) but are anonymized and not linked to your personal profile after account deletion
• Backup Systems: Data may remain in encrypted backup systems for up to 30 days after deletion before being permanently purged

Greater is built for school and youth-athlete environments. We collect only the profile and training information needed to deliver the service, such as name, email, date of birth, height, weight, assignments, and workout progress. We do not collect grades, transcripts, disciplinary records, or academic records.

For school customers, Greater treats student data as school-controlled information and uses it only for authorized school and athletic purposes. Schools, teams, clubs, and other supervising organizations are responsible for obtaining any required parent or guardian consent under their own policies and applicable law, including COPPA, FERPA, and state student privacy laws, before inviting or adding minors to Greater.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID), do not serve third-party ads, and do not share data for cross-app advertising. Therefore, you will not see Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.

• Individual users: in-app deletion immediately erases all personal data.
• Organisation users: deletion requests submitted via administrator or the web form are completed within 7 days.
• Encrypted disaster-recovery backups are retained for up to 30 days before automatic purge.
• Payment/tax records are retained for up to 7 years as required by law and then anonymised or deleted.

Workout videos you record are securely uploaded to our cloud servers, where automated computer-vision models analyse form, range of motion and other performance factors. The analysis results are sent back to your device and stored in your account history so you can track progress over time.

We may use de-identified video frames, key-point data and workout metrics to further train and improve our machine-learning models. These datasets do not include your name or direct contact details and are retained only for as long as is necessary to improve model accuracy. If you prefer not to have your data used for model-training, you can opt out at any time by emailing team@usegreater.com. Opting out will not affect the core AI feedback on your own videos.
